Can I book online?

Do I need to book in advance?

Walk ins are welcomed if we have availability. If we are fully booked, you will have to book for another time.
We take bookings every 15 mins, so hopefully you won’t have to wait too long!

Can I make a group booking?

Yes, HERE. Under Studio select: I would like to book an appointment for 2-6 people. Please keep in mind, About Time is a space for quiet relaxation.

Do yoy take bookings for over 4 people?

Do you do packages?

How do I book with a gift voucher?

Do you have private bathing available?

Our secluded private bathing has access for 4 people. For groups of over 4 please contact us directly to book.

What temperature are your pools?

We have cold plunge pools sitting at 9 & 11 degrees celsius. We also have hot magnesium pools ranging from 38-40 degrees.

Should I have my treatment before or after bathing?

Either or! It is lovely to unwind and prepare your body with bathing prior to your treatment, but if the timing isn't right, you can also bathe afterwards.

I’m pregnant, which treatments can I book in?

All our treatments are suitable during pregnancy.

Should I arrive early for my treatment?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your treatment and make sure you have filled out your consultation form.

How do I add bathing to my treatment?

My skin is sensitive, can I still have a facial?

All our facials are tailored to your skin using natural ingredients.

What’s LED Light therapy?

Non-invasive, anti-ageing, and targeting the effects of sun damage - light therapy can be used to treat a myriad of skin conditions. In this short treatment time skin is left rejuvenated from increased collagen stimulation and production; looking smoother, plumper and more radiant.

BATHING

What is a bathhouse?

A combination of hot and cold water therapies. Our bathing areas include hot
magnesium pools, cold plunge pools, saunas, and a steam rooms.

What’s included?

Custom hand-woven organic towels used for bathing are included. Bath towels are available for hire.

Can I book bathhouse for a private event

What facilities are included in social bathing?

Our bathing areas include hot magnesium pools, cold plunge pools, saunas, and a
steam rooms.

What are the temperatures of your pools?

Our hot magnesium pools are between 37-40 degrees and our cold plunges are between 9-11 degrees.

Is the bathhouse private?

Our secluded area is available for private bathing for up to 4 people.

Can I add a body scrub to bathing?

Yes, you can add HERE.

Do I shower before I bathe?

Please shower before you bathe and after you use the sauna and steam room! Hygiene is very important to us.

What do I wear bathing?

Your choice of bathers!

Can I bring my phone?

Phones are prohibited in the bathing area.

Can I bathe if I’m pregnant?

Always check with your medical practitioner before visiting.

How old do you need to be to bathe?

16 years.

How long is a bathhouse session?

You can choose between 45 & 90 minute sessions. Our 45 min sessions are available Monday - Friday between 7-9am & 12-1pm only. 90 min sessions are available all week any time of the day.

What happens if we would like to stay longer?

You can speak to staff about booking another session, depending on availability. Please note a fee is applied to any visits that exceed their session time.

Can we bathe as a group?

Yes, group bookings can be made HERE.

What facilities do you have?

In our indoor and outdoor bathing areas we have hot magnesium pools, cold plunges, saunas, steam room, ice baths.

We also have a number of treatment rooms, body scrub room and LED light therapy facilities.

I’d love a physical gift voucher, is this possible?

Yes, physical vouchers are available at About Time.

Can I use my gift voucher for a different treatment that was gifted to me?

Yes, your voucher can be used towards any treatment, product or bathing sessions.

Where are you located?

27 Baines Crescent, Torquay 3228

We are located inside the large grey building, right next door the Core Plus pilates, and next to the Brewery.

Is there parking onsite?

Parking is available onsite, and on Baines Crescent.

FOOD AND DRINK

Can I purchase anything to eat or drink?

We have cold refreshments and light snacks, you can add these when booking online or speak to the front desk on arrival.

Can I bring my own food in the bathing area?

No food and drinks (except water in a plastic drink bottle) are allowed in the bathing area.

Bathing: 7am - 7pm
Treatments: 10am - 6pm

Can I bring my kids?

Bookings are only available to those over the age of 16.

Can I book a treatment without bathing?

Of course, bookings are available HERE.

Can I stay all day?

Bathing sessions are 45 or 90 min.

Are swimsuits available?

Please bring your own bathers and swimsuits. We have bathers available in our retail space for purchase.
